Guernsey Green Flag

Guernsey Green Sports Flag, 'Unofficial' with Crest, Also know as the Guernsey Green Flag, Guernsey sports flag, and Old Guernsey flag.

Some still just call it as THE Guernsey Flag, as it is sometimes referred to.  Used during events when Guernsey sporting teams represented themselves in Local, National and International events from 1890 through to 1940, and in later years, until Guernsey adopted the 'official' present St George Cross with the embedded Normandy Cross design.

The Guernsey Green Flag was never accepted officially by the States of Guernsey, and is seen as the TRUE Guernsey Flag mainly be the elder generation that grew up seeing its use on and off island. It has the Guernsey green colour, which almost all of the local sports teams have in their kits, and the crest adorned by the three Leo-Pards, topped with an offset laurel leaf to signify Guernsey Independence as a crown dependency granted from direct UK rule.
