Purposely avoiding the overhead view of the first two games, Gauntlet III opts for a forced perspective view with colourful 3D landscapes. All the classic elements are there: ghosts, treasure chests, food rations, dragons, and Death himself. Players must collect special objects and return them to their rightful place before they can progress.
